VIDEO: Reporter can’t say news story, calls herself stupid
Chris Spags A reporter for WTNH in New Haven named Erica Grow was reporting on problems at a local school when she found herself unable to say any parts of the story. But the money shot is her declaring herself “stupid” to the awkwardness of the on-set anchors.
The reaction of the news anchors is what is most mind-boggling to me here. Clearly that was not a “tape problem”. I’ve never once heard of a video tape causing a reporter to lock up and go, “DAHH I’M STUPID”. It’s more of a “producers hating the reporter and wanting to shame her publicly” problem.
That said, her defiant little hair flip at the end was kind of hot. Yeah, you embrace that stupidity baby. Let the world know.
