VIDEO: Security guards beat up deaf guy for setting off alarm

If you’ve been a long-time reader of this site, you probably know our humor here is a bit dark at times. But one thing I’m personally not a huge fan of is people who can’t totally defend themselves being taken advantage of. Hence this video clip of a deaf guy being choked out by overzealous security staff for stealing because he didn’t hear the alarm go off when he left.

According to reports, the background is that the deaf guy being choked out set off the alarm with items he purchased. The guy frantically gesturing to the other security guard is the choked-out-deaf-guy’s friend, imploring the guards to look at the deaf guy’s receipt. So there’s some context.

A lot of people have disdain for cops exercising their power a bit too much, but they’re really nothing compared to the security guard. I get this guy took one MMA class at a local McDojo and thinks that somehow has made him into a young Royce Gracie, but even if the guy did steal something, was it really necessary to lock him into a guillotine choke for that long?

Personally, I think that, given the crime here, the punishment should be that the deaf guy be allowed to stick his erect genitals into the security guards’ ears until their ear drums are ruptured, forcing them to live their lives out not only as deaf men, but also as guys who had a man skeet onto their anvil and metallus. Admit it, you’d watch The People’s Court if I were the new judge. Somebody start an Internet petition! Those always work!
