VIDEO: Some kid and his grandma lip synching and dancing to ‘Rack City’ by Tyga
Chris Spags 2012 is just five days in and, sadly, it’s proving to be just as much in favor of the “Old people are hilarious because they’re old!” meme as each of the last ten years. In this clip, some dorkyish white kid lip synchs Tyga’s song “Rack City” while his grandmother dances behind him. Watch it now.
Not surprisingly, 99% of the YouTube comments are about how awesome the grandma is. Because, you know, grandmas bopping to music you wouldn’t expect them to enjoy is so new and original. I bet that if we did some research, that’d be the oldest gag in history. If you watched an early newsreel from a 1920s nickelodeon, there’s probably a grandma in there popping her ass to the latest Fats Waller jam that left all the derbys in the crowd flying into the air as a result of the boisterous laughter.
Still pretty high on the list of positive ways to exploit the elderly though.
