VIDEO: Taiwanese animation asks “Is Philly the crappiest place to live in the US?”
Chris Spags It took a couple months, but the NMA Taiwanese CGI animation videos have finally degenerated into straight America-bashing. It’s like the “Chinpokomon” episode of “South Park” turned real. In this video, they just insult Philadelphia, and other US cities, for a minute or so.
They make some valid points. Yes, cheesesteaks are delicious. But they’re terrible for you and they also are made of a meat about as high quality as what’s in your dog’s breakfast. And their sports fans are dicks (disclaimer: I’m a Cowboys fan and Philadelphians taunted a seemingly-paralyzed Michael Irvin was a formative moment in my life). And, as comedian Bill Burr pointed out, they’re generally such a loser city that their main point of pride is a fictional boxer with a speech impediment.
But still, I can say that…I’m an American and from New York. But these shots being lobbed from Taiwan are not okay. Prepare your snowballs and vomiting attackers, Philadelphia. You’ve got a war on your hands.
Also, Philly chicks are kind of cute, drink beer, and put out really easily. That’s definitely a check in the plus column.
