Yep. That pretty much tells the story as bluntly as possible. It’s a painful realization for some of you who hoped you’d get the next Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, but it had to be said. So many women take a few pictures with a “professional” photographer and automatically think they are a model. It’s really starting to become an epidemic. Just because the guy at Glamor Shots in the mall said you look pretty doesn’t make you a professional model.
I knew I wasn’t a model when the guy at the fair kindly told me to leave the house of mirrors because I was scaring the children more than the time that someone spiked the funnel cakes with LSD and let John Merrick in. (Cue: Sad Charlie Brown Walking Away Song)
