VIDEO: The Guy Code, as explained by a creepy shirtless nerd
Chris Spags Even though we’re a site for men, we don’t necessarily get on the “RAH RAH DUDES!” bandwagon too often here. But maybe that needs to change. After seeing this video from shirtless and creepy YouTuber slipoka about “The Guy Code”, I feel all empowered and whatnot. Clearly this is a man who knows what’s up.
I’m all for “viva la revoluccion” and similar concepts that give people a guideline to live by. But I don’t know where I’d be in the world if I took advice from every shirtless fat guy who solicits me on webcam. He could be giving me advice on how to grow a money tree with pages upon pages of empirical evidence of why it works and I’d still be caught up on the fact that he’s sitting there shirtless with a mustache that looks like the tail of a dying cat.
Additionally, I prefer to take my advice from men who look like Sean Connery or someone, you know, aspirational. The day I aspire to live by the credo that’s built such success like an ugly loveseat and rambling to a camera while my wife is in the other room silently wishing I were dead is the day I will personally hand over my testicles to the Man Magistrate, an imaginary fealty I would have theoretically created from losing too much blood from my self-castration.
