VIDEO: This is what a fiery exploding NYC cab looks like

As you’re in the back of an NYC cab with your knuckles bleeding from being tightly clenched to the door due to the driver’s complete recklessness and/or incompetence at his job, it’s natural for your mind to wander to, “Man, I wonder what a cab would look like blown up.” Well, thanks to this video captured by a civilian on the Upper East Side, now you know what a fiery NYC cab explosion looks like.

That was pretty interesting to see. At the same time, I feel like Michael Bay has set the bar for this sort of thing way too high. There was no one leaping away, no Hans Zimmer music behind it, people probably got hurt instead of having just a light sexy-but-dangerous scratch on their head. B-
