VIDEO: This is what it looks like to have a turkey trying to attack you
Chris Spags News 10 in Sacramento went to report on local residents’ claims that wild turkeys were attacking people in their neighborhood. What happened is this video, in which producer Duffy Kelly has to outrun a “mad” turkey.
Admittedly, I’ve never come face to face with a live turkey and have no knowledge of the bird’s murderous tendencies outside of that fake trailer for Thanksgiving in Grindhouse. But it just seems silly to act like this is a great danger upon all those who live in the region. This is an animal we ceremonially murder every year, forcing it to bathe in its own bodily fluids for hours, and this producer is sprinting from it like it’s Godzilla. You’re the top of the food chain, dude. Act like you know.
