VIDEO: This news segment teaches us why jetpacks aren’t commercially available
Chris Spags Ever since James Bond soared away in a jetpack, many men have dreamed of flying a jetpack away from our earthly terrain. Unfortunately, it’s not a perfect science, as evidenced by this news blooper from the Fox affiliate in San Diego.
It’s safe to say that this slightly feminine gentleman on a jet pack taking a header into the water after excitedly shouting that the newscast starts right now might be the greatest sign-on in the history of television.
I personally don’t think there’s anyway a jetpack could work any less than the one did in this clip. You could have tried levitating or tying a bunch of balloons to you and gotten better lift-off.
