VIDEO: This parody sums up YouTube’s inception quite nicely

Shawn Norris

By now a lot of you probably already know about the upcoming film The Social Network about the early days of Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg, but what about the early days of YouTube?  ”We don’t have enough videos of adorable laughing babies!”

I knew Keyboard Cat was a d**k! For as many crazy things as Facebook has been through, I bet a YouTube film would be pretty interesting as well. The stuff that trends and the numbers that certain videos generate on the site could be somewhat fascinating for people in the internet business. And as I type this, I’m sure a writer in Hollywood is already working on the real script for a YouTube movie that may or may not go into production depending on how successful this Facebook film becomes. And good luck getting Keyboard Cat to be in the film —  I hear he won’t play you off for less than $5 mil, a percentage of merchandising and all the Fancy Feast in Los Angeles.

What'd you think of this?
