VIDEO: Toronto’s Gay Pride tourism trailer is a tad bit stereotypical

Toronto’s trying to increase their viability as a gay locale for this year’s Gay Pride week in the city. But the stereotypes going on in this video are probably going to do more to hurt than help.

I think, seeing this, I’d be most annoyed if I were a fat gay guy. It’s bad enough that this video is making every gay person out to be sparkles and sodomy, but chiseled abs and glutes are a necessity too? That’s not Gay Pride. That’s Gay Shame.

Sexy Gay Shame. But shame all the same.
