Do you like the type of boat shoes or sandals made by Rainbow or Sperry that have become popular among the college-aged demographic? Well, I hate to ruin that for you, but this Virginia Tech freshman named Lance Diamond doesn’t like them. And he’s angry. Six-minute YouTube monologue angry.

Screen Shot 2011 09 07 at 11.17.58 AM 135x95 VIDEO: Virginia Tech freshman launches sad campaign against sandals and boat shoes You have to feel bad for this kid. Sure, he’s kind of an entitled doofus with his name-dropping the fact that his dad is an Exxon lawyer. And also an idiot for thinking that his selection of shoes would compensate for any other failings. But it’s more society’s fault. With the AXE-ification of everything, weaker guys now think that products can actually make them more socially appealing. Body spray won’t result in you getting groped on a street corner and Sperrys won’t get you finger-banging a Tri Delt. Learn this lesson now.

On the flip side, if I were Sperry or Rainbow, I’d run with this. These shoes are like the sword of Excalibur. If a lesser man attempts to wear them, it’s all blisters and damage for him. This kid could be like an inverse spokesman.
