VIDEO: Wallie Burke is your next musical heartthrob

I’m not 100% sure yet if this is comically bad or not (it usually takes me a couple viewings or not), but I’m going to throw it out there for you to decide. Meet Wallie Burke. He wants to be a singer and he made a music video. It’s not that good. It does however have a woman dancing in a seethrough shirt, so it has that going for it. If you like husky guys singing offkey in Kangols, welcome to paradise.

On an unrelated note to the husky folks out there: Going black and white doesn’t make you look any slimmer. Wallie tries that trick, as have countless girls on Myspace or whatever social network is currently popular amongst people who like KFC Double Downs.

I have to say, the part around 3:30 in which he rocks out on the bass really appealed to my sensibilities. It doesn’t matter that he didn’t appear to actually be playing the instrument; he sold it like he did, and that’s what counts. Don’t judge me for sticking around until 3:30 on the video. I do this for you, you know. You and Wallie. I’m sure he really appreciates the encouraging words in this post. Follow your dreams, Wallie! As misguided and terrible though they may be!
