VIDEO: Woman attempts to stop beer thieves, fails miserably
Chris Spags I feel like everybody has the occasional delusions of grandeur…moments in life where you think you are destined to do something great. In this case, a woman named Monique Lawless tried to stop three men stealing beer from a local Wal-Mart. It did not end well.
The line at 0:55 “The single mother thought others would help to stop the thieves…no one did” made me laugh really hard.
This is clearly a time where this woman had it coming. No offense lady, but you’re a middle aged white woman. Your little Lucille Roberts run was not nearly as heroic as you thought and your stand against injustices being committed at Wal-Mart files slightly under Batman stopping the Joker’s string of chaos in Gotham City.
Personally, I blame TNT dramas. This poor woman probably saw one too many episodes of “The Closer” and was all imbued with female empowerment. Her wristband with the initials “WWKSD” — What Would Kyra Sedgwick Do — led her astray yet again.
