“Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” is your Oscar frontrunner

I’ll confess to the fact that before my comedy chops developed (assuming you’re going to pity me and agree that they ever developed), I was a fan of “Weird” Al Yankovic’s work. So this trailer for a faux film about “Weird” Al’s life did it for me. Take a look and you’ll agree.

Sadly, this two minutes of fake film will probably be better than any of the Oscar candidates we’ll see next year. Unless they finally put together a credible biopic for Fatty Arbuckle. “When the Coke Bottle Goes in” seems like a cinematic tour de force in waiting for one courageous filmmaker.
