Woman buys billboard to get back/get back at her ex

Sometimes a breakup is harder on one person than the other…that’s nothing new. But what about a woman of some wealth using chunks of money to buy billboards declaring her undying love for a guy she broke up with months ago? Oh, and also, this guy is married. Yeah…that might be a bit much.

A fuming mistress catapulted retribution into a new orbit by plastering the country with billboards that show her nuzzling a married New York business honcho and adviser to President Obama, sources said.

The spurned squeeze, YaVaughnie Wilkins, went nuclear after she learned that Charles E. Phillips — president of tech conglomerate Oracle and a member of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board — reconciled with his wife despite his lengthy affair with Wilkins.

One of the giant signs, posted prominently at the corner of West 52nd Street and Broadway, near Times Square, declares “Charles & YaVaughnie,” and shows the couple beaming.

Referring to him by his initials, the three-story-tall ad proclaims, “You are my soulmate forever – cep.”

She also built a Web site of all of their cherished memories which you can see here. That site might be down due to all of the traffic hitting it, but to use your imagination in terms of how terrible it’d be for your marriage when your mistress posts a site like that, imagine your wife finding out that your homepage is either Tubgirl or Lemonparty.org and multiple that by 1000. It’s about that bad.

It’s almost embarrassing for me to admit here that I’ve been in a similar situation before. A relationship I had with a woman ended in heartbreak. She was so mad afterwards. She wasn’t wealthy enough to buy billboards, but she did have small print ads sent to my house with crazy headings like “Restraining Order” on them. Move on with your life, fictional ex-girlfriend I made just for a punchline’s sake.
