Woman wins $3.5 million after surgery gives her four boobs

As it turns out, when “Total Recall” happens in real life, it’s not nearly as awesome: A Staten Island woman was awarded $3.5 million for a botched plastic surgery which left her, according to reports, with what looked like four breasts.

A Staten Island mom who said her botched boob job left her looking like she had four breasts was awarded $3.5 million for pain and suffering yesterday.

“I hope this will give other women in the same position the courage to come forward,” said Maria Alaimo, 46.

The jury found that Dr. Keith Berman botched her 2003 plastic surgery — which was supposed to be a breast lift and augmentation — leaving her with an embarrassing condition known as “double bubble deformities.”

Describing the condition, her lawyer Michael Kuharski said, “It appears like there’s two breasts [on each side] stacked on top of each other.”

The lawyer also attributes her recent divorce to the boob botch, saying that Alaimo ended up sleeping in a different room, depressed, which pushed her away from her then-husband.

I find it hard to take the side of someone who gets plastic surgery just because there’s always some risk involved with that. I mean, Joan Rivers is standing right there, guys. But it’s hard not to feel bad for this woman whose life was apparently genuinely wrecked by breasts that look like Blinky the Fish from “The Simpsons.” And here we were, thinking breast implants were all fun and games and increased lower back pain. Shame on us all.
