Woman with fake beard robs an Alabama bank
Chris Spags Police say a woman robbed a branch of an Alabama branch of the Bank of Tuscaloosa clad in a fake beard and wielding a fake bomb. Proof that bearded women are just more advanced? Between this, carnivals, and, um, more carnivals, I’d say so.
According to reports, the woman walked into the Cottondale branch of the bank on Friday and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Tellers told police that the woman had a beard that was “drawn on” and demanded money after telling employees she was strapped with a bomb, then placed an undisclosed device on the bank’s counter.
Police also suspect the woman may have been involved in a robbery earlier in July in the state.
The good news for her is that the odds of getting caught are exceedingly low. How could they ever decipher whom this mystery woman is with such a brilliant disguise! Magic marker beards are basically an invisibility cloak for the modern ages.
Either way, you’ve got to applaud this woman’s imagination. Drawn on beards and fake bombs? It’s like a child’s world of whimsy and wonder come alive! In Alabama. So maybe the imagination isn’t that strong.
