Woman’s wish for dying husband will restore your faith in humanity

Chris Spags Founder and Editor

In February, Kathleen Rinard, an Arizona woman suffering from terminal cancer, made a dying wish: To get her husband, who also has just months to live, to drive a Cobra — his dream car. What happened next will restore your faith in humanity.

With big natural disasters like Hurricane Sandy or, really, any problem in your life, it’s easy to forget about the everyday trials and tribulations people around the country go through. Sometimes, it’s nice to be reminded that, hey, sometimes people will show up at your house with 29 Cobras for your husband to test drive.

This happened back in February but, for some reason, didn’t start getting traction until now. You can read more about the Rinards at the original ABC15 coverage.
