If you think about it, even our crappiest TV programs these days have the finer points of making a show down pat. This vintage news report from an unknown station is like a trip back in time to a much less competent world of broadcasting.

I really lost it when the camera rolled over. I assume the camera was just poorly placed on the tripod by that seemingly stoned Lane Bryant-clothed reporter, but I’d like to believe there was actually a cameraman there who just keeled over in revulsion at what a colossal mess this show had become. Maybe he even became a ghost that now haunts newscasts across the country, causing all of those absurd bloopers we know and love. Believe. (via Uproxx)
