Okay so after poking around the internet, making phone calls to national headquarters, posing as a simple fashion-crazed guy, calling in personal favors and yes, even calling our friendly neighbors across the pond in the UK, I’ve got the ultimate list of up and coming men’s designers and fashion labels you can’t live without. The following list is comprised of clothes you’ll find yourselves putting on Christmas lists and spending your paychecks on as soon as you can.

G-star – Better known as g-star raw, this line from the Netherlands is a dash of The Matrix with and urban flare. If loose jeans and tight jackets is your style, g-star is your brand to look out for.

Cult of Individuality – Nails, snails, and Rottweiler tails … aren’t those the things us men are made out of? So are the clothes of Cult of Individuality. With denim names like “rebel slim,” and “rocker skinny,” you can’t help but bring out your inner James Dean or Gene Simmons. They were kind enough to send a demo pair over to Guyism’s offices and it’s safe to say that your ass will never look better than in these jeans. No matter how much make-up you put on it.

Charles and a Half – From what I’ve seen, this clothing line is a step up from American apparel. You still get the hipster feel but it goes back to the basics; get one of their jackets and break out that boom box for smokin’ good time.

Obey - Screen printing will never go out of style, right? Right! Obey’s clothes bring screen printing to a whole new level; they excel especially well with playing on the colors red and black; it’s simple and rough.

Dunderdon – this new line straight out of Sweden surpasses racial borders and sees no color differences. If Annie Oakley and Davey Crockett came together in this modern age, Dunderdon is what you’d get.

Propr – Do the names Ben Harper, David Arquette, and David Bedwell ring a bell? Well, these three men are the masterminds behind this collaborative fashion line; it’s sure to be a mix of music, wackiness and a little bit of bastard child of pop artist Keith Haring.

Ben Westwood – Once erotic photographer and heir to the Vivienne Westwood throne, this dude is launching a line chock full of trousers, shorts, and the like. Maybe he’ll even let his freak flag fly a bit … anything’s possible when you carry the surname of Westwood.

Caulfield Prep - Are you a bookworm? Do chicks dig you because you rock the geek chic glasses? Hello Mr. Clark Kent, this line is calling your name. Relive your youth as a nerd, because it’s the key to being the number one chick magnet … to the n-th power squared.

Simon Miller- If you’re a hipster or simply have the frame to fit into the skinny jean, Simon Miller is the designer to pick up at your earliest convenience. His new line of clothes are about to set sail within the next several months.

Rutger by Topman Ltd – The “Granddad” look is very chic at the moment – prepare yourself to purchase a cane and fedora because the Mr. Rogers craze is leaving the station as we speak.
