An aspiring photographer, I first met Liam back in May when I had him take some photos for a brand I was working with out in Toronto (his hometown). Being one of the young bucks in the game, I was thoroughly impressed with his level of knowledge and professionalism. His three picks exude that expertise and it’s my pleasure to share them with you today.
1. YIGAL AZROUËL Colorblock Brushed Wool Jacket – $360
This jacket is mildly ridiculous and I’m not entirely sure I could pull it off, but I’m certainly going to try. I’m a sucker for anything with 1 button and patch pockets, and the fact that its marked down to $500 only sweetens the deal.
2. Buttero Lace Up Boot – $400
Ever since I saw the Wings + Horns service boot I’ve been obsessed with beat up blace suede laceups. I didn’t think I’d find a boot I like more than the W+H joints until my buddy Bryan put me onto Buttero. Buttero’s an Italian company that has manufactured for some huge names, but apparently likes to keep the best leather for themselves. These can be purchased at Barneys.
3. Philosykos Eau de Toilette – $88
I’ve tried a lot of colognes, and until now, I thought I’d found perfection in the Comme Des Garcon parfum line. However, on a hot day last summer, I made the rookie mistake of forgetting to put a bit on before a date. I stopped by a boutique and picked up a bottle of this a few hours before the date, and spent the rest of the afternoon and well into the evening getting complimented. Needless to say, this stuff blew my previous favourite out of the water. Its a very light scent with a fig base and a touches of white cedar and ‘wow who is that guy he smells incredible’.
