2. OUTLIER Storm King Parka – $675 201 outlier storm king parka 197x214 2011 Guyism Holiday Gift Guide BKLYN Dry Goods Made in Vancouver of Supermarine Cotton, Outlier’s near impermeable Storm King Parka is a full rethinking of the classic rain shell. 3. Chicks with Guns by Lindsay McCrum – $50 Cover1A 785x1023 164x214 2011 Guyism Holiday Gift Guide BKLYN Dry GoodsWhile the title of Chicks with Guns suggests some vintage dog-eared collection of bikini clad women & AK-47s (a Google search confirms this assumption) this hard covered tome dedicates itself to a far more diverse cross-section of women (think moms, daughters & the occasional girl worth introducing to mom & dad) with their guns through a series of incredibly compelling portraits shot by Lindsay McCrum. One part tasteful expose of women & their firearms, one part “damn, that girl with that gun is kinda’ hot”. Available at Modern Anthology (68 Jay Street in DUMBO)
