Fine. Maybe we’re a little late in getting out the full gift guide. But let’s be serious — have you even started shopping?
Yeah. Didn’t think so. We’re on “guy time” too and we’re always getting gifts at the last minute. Consider this your “bright light” moment. You’re welcome.
Over the next few days we’re going to be rolling out some amazing products and gifts courtesy of some of our favorite people across the style interwebs. I’ve enlisted the help of not only our fearless style writers CB and Megan, but also some of my favorite style writers, photographers, and shops. Some of it may be out of your pay-grade or perhaps for the lady in your life, but it’s all amazingly awesome. We’ll culminate the week with our favorite 15 gifts under $50, chosen by the Guyism Style team. So, sit back, relax, and let the (belated) gift buying begin. 1. Barbour Chelsea Sportsquilt – $95 (on sale)
Everyone and their mom has a Barbour Liddesdale. It’s about as ubiquitous as the Mitsubishi Eclipse was in ’97 after the Fast & Furious came out. That’s why I’m digging the Chelsea. It’s got a slimmer silhouette, a corduroy collar, and that awesome diamond quilting. Can’t go wrong with this jacket this winter.
2. Dockers – The Alpha - $68
You know I love me some Dockers. I can’t get enough of their chinos and their new Alphas are no exception. Similar to your jeans, the Alpha is designed in a slim fit, with the combination of rugged jean-like construction and the polished design of a chino pant. And perfect for the holidays, they come in a great Sahara Red colorway! GET EXCITED.
3. Air Jordan XIII Retro- $300
Not only do I want the Air Jordan XIII, but I’m talking about that white/blue/flint grey colorway. Yeah, that’s right. I balled back in the day and these were my holy grail. I ended up being able to grab a pair of XIVs (which I still own today), but these were always the ones. I only had eyes for them. And dammit, I will own these. So, uh, please Santa?
