One of my favorite men’s designers, Mark McNairy, recently made menswear nerds drool over his Spring/Summer 2012 New Amsterdam line. Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better from the American designer. They did.
His first ever woman’s line (and in case you didn’t know, it’s all made in the USA – see below).
Now I know this is supposed to be men’s style and what not, but this teaser video from the upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 New Amsterdam Women’s line is nothing short of awesome. The menswear inspiration is certainly apparent. It reminds of the morning after you’ve had a great night with your girl and she throws on your clothes to make breakfast. You’re weirdly attracted to the fact she looks 10 times better in your clothes than you do. Or something like that. Either way check it out below:
The video was created by the menswear blogger Isaac Hindin Miller (a recent New Zealand transplant), and features the incredibly talented photographer Justin Chung at work.
