Johnny Depp wants to be made into whisky
Colin Joliat Johnny Depp is…well, strange. From the characters he plays to the life he leads, there is no shortage of eccentricity when it comes to the artist formerly known as Captain Jack Sparrow. This quote regarding his future funeral, which he dropped in an interview with a German magazine, may be the most awesome act of all.
“Maybe I could go in a whisky cask and everyone can take a sip.
Apparently Depp was inspired by the ultimate man, Hunter S. Thompson, to do something memorable after he dies. If you recall, Thompson’s funeral involved his ashes being shot out of a giant fist cannon. More than likely Depp was just joking, making a funny one-off comment, but it’s not a bad idea. If you put his ashes into a cask of whisky, I’d certainly drink from Gilbert Grape’s juice. Sure, it sounds disgusting, but who could pass on that opportunity? Just imagine how terrified your grandkids will be when you tell them that story,
