Rogue Ales shows off their awards
Colin Joliat Winning an award when you were a kid was easy. Most every competition ended with a ribbon, medal, or even a trophy just for participating. I think most of our parents probably still have a box of awards laying around the house somewhere.
Fortunately for consumers, it’s much more difficult to garner accolades when you are a professional. Beers often go up against hundreds of others trying to claim one of three prizes. Rogue Ales makes some of the best beer I’ve had the pleasure of drinking, and they’ve been rewarded for it time and again. They’ve received more than 800 awards since 1990, and they aren’t very shy about letting people know about their success. They posted this video this morning to give people a glimpse of what they are doing with all of those trophies. I don’t have a single trophy in my apartment, so to say I’m jealous would be an understatement.
