Rugbeer makes you body check a vending machine to get a beer

We’ve all had a vending machine falter causing us to hit it in an effort shake free our bad decision. Cerveza Salta has decided to make all a part of the process with their new Rugbeer machine.

I know several rugby players, and if there’s one thing you can say for them, it’s that they’re big dumb animals. I mean that in the nicest possible way of course (please don’t hurt me). Being encouraged to hit a vending machine is right up their alley so it’s no surprise that sales rose 25% with the Rugbeer. I’d be willing to bet the novelty doesn’t wear off either. If you give people the opportunity to vent some frustration by hitting something, they’re going to take it. I’m completely on board with this idea but a little confused as to why they would advertise a product built on aggression with the soothing sounds of the pan flute.
