The Monday morning walk of shame
I want to try something new here on Guyism. I have a lot of faith in our readers, but others say you’re just a bunch of good for nothing alcoholics.
This weekend I spotted a woman at the tail end of her walk of shame. Because I’m an easily amused sketchball, I took a picture of her. She just so happened to be walking into my building, but being the gentleman that I am, I stopped to talk to the door guy for a minute so she could have the elevator to herself. I put it up on my Facebook page, and people seemed to love it. Apparently I’m not the only one who enjoys seeing people stroll home the morning after.
I want all of you to start doing the same thing on the weekends. If you spot a walker, snap a picture. No faces though. That’s just mean. The purpose is not to embarrass people on the internet, but rather to amuse ourselves. I also wouldn’t mind an excuse to think about weekend shenanigans instead of the pending work week every Monday morning.
These people deserve to be honored. They’re out there getting some while most of us end up stuffing our faces with a burrito instead of someone else’s pillow. I’m not just talking about women either. If you see a guy strutting around in jeans and a blazer at 10am on Saturday, he’s fair walk of shame game.
