Zombie Gut Punch is the perfect Halloween drink

Alie and Georgia are back with the perfect drink for your Halloween party tonight. Instead of wasting time with individual cocktails, try the Zombie Gut Punch.

Plenty of brands put together spooky Halloween cocktails, and my original plan was to share a bunch of them. Then A&G swooped in like vampire bats and owned everyone. There’s been a significant uptick in bars serving punch bowls, but I’ve yet to really get into them. If you’re talking about a 90% booze Shark Bowl, that’s a different story, but for well made concoctions it’s just not my style (yet).

While the lovely undead ladies can’t tell you what type of liquor they’re using for obvious reasons, you should be able to identify Dr. Raymond Stantz’s “Crystal Head Vodka.” I can’t think of a better choice for tonight’s celebration.

Recipe:
10 ounces vodka
5 ounces triple sec
2 ounces bitters
1 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice
2 cups black cherry soda
Grenadine, for rim
