Ask CB: Beat your heat

Weather map hot Ask CB: Beat your heat

It’s starting to get pretty warm out. Do you have an tips about staying/looking cool in the heat? Thanks.

When it comes to beating the heat, less is certainly more. This doesn’t simply mean wear less clothes but rather wearing less and doing fewer things that are going to get you overheated. Cotton is king. Try to stay away from wools unless they are tropical wools which are awesome this time of year. If you are going to rock shorts, keep them simple, trim, and cut 1-3 inches above the knee. Whenever possible, go sockless. Toss a little baby or talcum powder in your shoes and you don’t have to worry about smelly sweaty feet. Lighten up your color palette. Some guys are very scared of color, but there is a reason why you find more pastels during the spring and summer time: they reflect much better than darker colors. Seersucker is your friend, get to know him a little better. Finally, stay hydrated. Go to the corner store and find the dopest looking bottle of water and stunt hard.
