CB’s Picks: Best summer ties under $100

One of the easiest ways to keep your look interesting with minimal effort is to put on a interesting tie. During the summer, however, many guys ditch ties in the interest of staying cool. Rocking a summer tie kills two birds with one stone: you will look fly, and not have a hot silk noose around your neck. Summer ties come in a variety of lighter fabrics: cotton, linen, and lighter silk blends. In addition to coming in great summer colors, these different materials add texture to a tie that silk, generally, doesn’t. Don’t scrimp when it comes to ties. Better ties tie better knots. I own multiple knit ties of different materials and price levels and the best one far and away is a Ralph Lauren Black Label tie that retails for $95 that I bought on sale (similar to the one featured here).
