Father’s Day Gifts: Howler Brothers Apparel

Howler Brothers, the outdoor and coastal living clothing company based in Austin, is gearing up for summer, which means introducing plenty of new shirts and gear (even surf wax), available at Howlerbros.com.
Howler apparel also makes a great Father’s Day gift (thus the reason for my writing about them). Their clothing designs feature the timeless style of sports such as surfing and fly fishing, but also update historic garment ideas with modern influence from waves, water, geography, fashion and art. They avoid trendy or overly traditional ideas and collaborate with artists and craftsmen to create original, alternative offerings, making them a refreshing change from many other men’s clothing companies out there.
Their shirts are both comfortable and technical. The Loggerhead Longsleeve with UPF 45 protection and a mini stash pocket with sunglass cleaning microfiber is just about as cool as a shirt can be (pictured above). Their breathable Magic Mesh Polos and custom T’s are pretty amazing as well.
