5 health benefits of Valentine’s Day chocolate

Colin Joliat Alcohol & Food Editor

If you need a mediocre but essential Valentine’s Day offering, chocolate is a solid option. Not only does it put your lady-boo in a great mood, it’s also great for the body.

Saying chocolate is healthy is of course dependent on you eating 90% of the box before giving it to your girlfriend. Much like the studies touting the health benefits of beer, moderation is key. While you may be able to stop drinking after 1-2 beers though, there isn’t a chance in hell she’ll stop after two delicious morsels. She’s not made of bacon, so it’s not in your best interest to fatten her up.

If you want to take your choco-gift to the next level, why not give her homemade truffles?

What'd you think of this?
