‘Absentee Parent Cooking Show,’ featuring Dunkaroos
Just because your parents don’t love you doesn’t mean that you can’t have delicious and nutritious after school snacks. “Absentee Parent Cooking Show” will teach you the essentials of making your own exquisite meal.
This video was on point. Not only does it look just like every other show on the Food Network, the recipes were fantastic. Dunkaroos are probably the greatest snack from my childhood. I had them recently – thank you Amazon – and they are nowhere near as good as an adult. The frosting is still delicious, but the cookies tastes as bad now as Triscuits did when I was a kid. Thankfully this recipe only calls for the frosting, so it’s still legit in my book. If you didn’t do the “Fruit by the Foot” retainer as a kid you definitely missed out. And I haven’t seen a 3-liter of cola since my days of buying things at K-Mart with money I stole from my parents, but I imagine it’s still impossible to pour.
