Girl goes to Taco Bell, is handed bag of money instead of food
A Dayton woman went to a local Taco Bell to get her fix of hastily made, overly processed Mexican food. However, she didn’t get quite what she expected as she ended up leaving the drive-thru not with a quesadilla and a bout of explosive diarrhea but rather a bag full of $2,000 in cash.
The Taco Bell employee responsible for giving the cash away called the cops upon the realization that instead of giving the woman her big bag of food and shame she instead gave her the morning’s bank deposit.
According to the restaurant manager, it’s Taco Bell policy to give the morning’s bank deposit to the manager in a Taco Bell bag through the drive-thru window in order to not arouse suspicion and make it a less likely object of criminal attention.
Oddest part of the story: The employee reported the incident at 10:30AM Tuesday morning. Which means this mysterious woman in the SUV was getting Taco Bell at around 10AM on a weekday. So, in that respect, it’s probably a good thing this woman got the $2,000 instead of it going to Taco Bell’s bank account. Because there is absolutely no way your life is going well if you’re binging at Taco Bell at 10AM on a Tuesday morning. I’m pretty sure that’s how 30% of the stories of bottoming out at “Anonymous” meetings start.
