Over the years, many reporting organizations have had in-depth “exposés” on how food looks different in ads than in real life. So McDonald’s Canada pulled back the curtain. Here’s what their burger photoshoot looks like.

What they didn’t show you? The photographer forced the burger to remove its bun. As the hamburger cried and removed its carbohydrate-laden dignity for the camera to see, it could see the photographer getting visibly aroused. The photographer came over and kissed the hamburger on its side. He could taste the onions. He didn’t care enough to ask for permission. He was despicable. But what else could the hamburger do? Saying no would mean the job would go to a younger burger, a thinner burger.

The hamburger would never be the same again. (via Devour)
