It’s not the type of food in most eating contests that makes the competition so inherently disgusting. It’s the act of gorging yourself for the amusement of others. This $70,000 caviar eating competition in Russia helps illustrate that point.

The winning competitor received a pound of caviar as his prize. Which is good because he probably had a real hankering for it after this.
