No one needs an introduction to Groupon — it gives you deals on your phone and your email account. But if you’re someone who likes paying less money for their medical marijuana, you should probably get all up on Daily Deals.
From the makers of WeedMaps.com, it’s a dealfinder for medicinal marijuana users.
For instance, Monday’s deal was tax paid by the seller on any purchase of weed.
And tomorrow could be like “Buy 1 nugg, get the second half off.” Or something like that.
It’s only applicable to those that live near medical marijuana suppliers, of course, and the government will probably tell you that you’re evil and going to hell for thinking about smoking pot. (Oh, wait, sorry, the government would never use religious-type stuff to force morality on the country. What was I thinking?)
The obvious downside to this app is that you have to put in your email address and they’re always trying to track your location, man. Which is fine, because one assumes that server is secure, but if you’re not sitting on a legal prescription, you probably want to hold off on diving into the dangerous deep end of personal privacy on this one.
Or, alternately, have some good work excuse — like writing this article! — for visiting the site.
