I Want: A flying motorcycle

Sure in the past I have lusted over several really cool motorcycles, but this one takes the cake because it can fly. Well, it will fly… some day…

Samson Motorworks designs flying motorcycles, and now the company has modified its approach, rolling out the airworthy Switchblade. This 15-foot vehicle improves upon its predecessor, the Aerobike, by trimming 200 pounds of excess weight, and if something goes wrong when you’re flying at its 134mph airborne cruise speed, it’s packing a parachute under which you can float safely back to earth.

Wait a sec!! It’s predecessor? You mean there have been flying motorcycles around this whole time and I haven’t seen or driven one? Seriously people if we are ever going to have a society like The Jetsons envisioned we really need to start using more of these…
