The other day I showed you a remote-controlled robot soccer game that looked like foosball only was way better. Well, that was before I saw this Space Foosball game. This game replaces the spinning players and ball with physics-powered graphics developed at the Ewha Women’s University in Korea. Ah, those crazy Korean women…
The handles are tracked by infra-red sensors, and the software uses that information to make the players spin on the virtual soccer-field in a realistic way.
While this is really cool to look at and quite advanced technologically, I actually think I would miss being able to superspin my little dudes and whip the ball against the fake wood walls of the game at Mach 3 like I do with the oldie version. Chicks love it when I do that.
