Every man needs ties. This is an irrefutable fact. A tie is the easiest way to infuse a bit of your personality into what may seem like a rather mundane outfit. It can be tough to find a tie that is both interesting and professional, and when you do they often cost an arm and a leg. Enter The Knottery. Started by Brooklyn native, Jay Arem, their philosophy is simple: fun limited run ties at low prices. They are 3in wide, so they are slim without being “fashion” skinny. At $25 a pop, you can’t argue with the price. Today they launched their second run of ties, which includes some great wool and wool blends made in Brooklyn, NY and their trademark pindot silk knit tie. Their first run of ties sold out in a matter of days, and we expect this most recent offering to go pretty quickly as well. Our favorites are The Hayden, The Booker, and The Elijah. Get on them fast because once they are gone that’s all she wrote.
