The Father’s Day Series: Shoes
For the first piece in our Father’s Day Series we will focus in on shoes. Many dads are too busy being… well… dads to focus on upgrading their footwear. Use this Father’s Day as an opportunity to show that you appreciate all the running around he has done for you over the years.
The Golfer Dad

Two things that most dads enjoy are sports and technology. If you can combine their favorite sport with technology in a Father’s Day gift you will easily secure “favorite child” status. These golf shoes by True Linkwear are great because they incorporate new technology in a sleek new silhouette.
The Professional Dad

Just because your dad already has a pair of dress shoes doesn’t me he can’t use another pair. The benefit of these is that they have Nike Air techology, so they add comfort without sacrificing style. This particular style is great because it goes just as well with a suit as it does with some dark jeans.
The Handy Dad

The Handy Dad works hard, and he could use some shoes that will work as hard as he does. Even if your dad isn’t up on style, he is sure to know Red Wing because they have been making some of the best work shoes on the market since before he was born.
The Sportsman Dad
L.L. Bean Signature 6″ Maine Hunting Shoe
The Sportsman Dad probably needs footwear more than any of the other dads because of how rough he is on his shoes. These boots from L.L. Bean Signature are great because while durable, the waxed canvas upper is water repellent and makes the shoe light enough for summer wear.
The Stylish Dad
There are a small hand full of shoe makers that have created timeless sneaker silhouettes: New Balance is one of them. You really can’t go wrong with this model. Sure your dad may have a closet full of shoes, but he could always use a pair that look great on a supermarket run.
