VIDEO: ‘Angry Birds,’ the movie trailer

Angry Birds is just about the most popular application of all-time. In fact, it might be THE most popular app of all-time. That’s the sort of thing I’m either not qualified enough to answer, or way too lazy to research right now.

Either way, it’s reached a point of popularity that it’s getting spoofed all over the place.

Conan O’Brien recently did a little mock of the game, and now Angry Birds has gotten its own movie. Well, not really, but it’s gotten a fake movie. Okay, so it’s gotten a fake movie trailer, courtesy of the guys at Rooster Teeth, who somehow managed to make a video game about launching birds with a slingshot into a pretty freaking dramatic little preview.

Yes, there’s now a 100 % chance that some movie studio exec sees the spoof and decides this could happen for realsies. So get ready.
