10 Things you’ll remember from the 2010 Masters
From Phil’s green jacket to Tiger’s first tournament back, the 2010 Masters was certainly a tradition unlike any other. Let’s take a look back at some of the more memorable moments from this past weekend.
Unfortunately for Tiger, he couldn’t put the sex scandals behind him right away. Someone paid a company to fly over the Masters on Thursday with some rather lewd signs. Oddly though, the planes were grounded by the FAA for having improper seat belts on Friday. Apparently, Tiger still has some friends in high places

Phil Mickelson’s Back to Back Eagles
Capping off one of the more dramatic half hours in Masters history, Phil Mickelson drained 2 eagles and a birdie within a 24 minute span in the 3rd round to pull him within striking distance of leader Lee Westwood

Anthony Kim’s Sunday Charge
If Kim wasn’t the best young player in the game before Sunday, his final round 65 proved it. The 24-year old gave the leaders quite a scare when he shot a blistering back nine 31 including 5 under on a 4 hole stretch to catapult himself into the clubhouse lead.

Tom Watson’s 67
Thought it certainly wasn’t as magical as his run at last year’s British Open, Tom Watson showed he still had some life in the tank with an opening round 67. Watson, who is 60 years proved that while “old people, though slow and dangerous behind the wheel, they can still serve a purpose.”

KJ Choi matching Tiger shot for shot for 4 days
In the past, players who were paired with Tiger would normally fall apart. They shot terrible rounds because of the huge galleries or because they were playing with the best player in the world. Not KJ Choi though who matched Tiger’s 11 under to tie him for 4th place.

Phil Mickelson’s amazing shot between two trees
Each tournament, there is one shot that a player can point to that really epitomizes their win. Simply said, this is one of the greatest shots in Masters history.

Lee Westwood coming up short in yet another major
Westwood carries both the lovable loser tag and the best player not to win a major tag. His last three major tournament results: 3rd, 3rd, 2nd. It’s nice to be there at the end, but eventually his chances will run out.

Phil Mickelson’s 3rd Masters win
It was just 6 years ago that people wondered if Phil could ever get it done on the big stage. And now he has 4 majors to his credit including his 3rd masters win. If you’re keeping score at home, that’s as many Masters as Tiger in the last decade. Amazing how far he’s come

50 year old Fred Couples hanging around til the end
After Couples opening round 66, the question was, “Could his bad back hold up”. Well, I think he answered that question and more. The Champions Tour player finished alone in 6th place when many wondered if he could even make the cut. Alas, his horrendous putting on Sunday kept him for pulling off a 1986 Jack Nicklaus-esque moment.

Tiger’s first tournament back
Coming off a several month hiatus from golf and the public eye, Woods received a warm response from the Masters crowd for most of the week. There were times you could hear audible catcalling or even see an occasional hater on TV, but otherwise the heckling was reduced to banners in the sky.
