2 on 5: No problem!

You see it in rec leagues sometimes. Guys show up late from work so teams are forced to play shorthanded. 4 on 5 most of the time and occasionally 3 on 5. Usually the shorthanded team will play keep away and wind some clock down.
But on January 3rd, the Arizona women’s basketball team finished the game with two players and yet only lost by 6 points in double OT.
Arizona played the final 1:28 of regulation and the entire first overtime with four players after two of the six who had dressed for the game fouled out.
Amina Njonku fouled out with 2:28 remaining in the second overtime, leaving the Wildcats with three players. Arizona was left with two — Bofia and Sarah Hays — after Whisonant was called for her fifth foul with 1:01 left.
Arizona only suited up 6 players for the game.
