Actual “Field of Dreams” land up for sale

If you enjoyed the film “Field of Dreams” so much that you want to call it your own, you can. For the very low price of 5.4 million dollars, you get a baseball diamond, a two-bedroom house, six outbuildings that include a concession stand, 193-acre parcel, and some creepy ghosts in a corn field. Unfortunately though, Shoeless Joe Jackson has decided he’s going to hold out for extra cash to pay off some old gambling debts….whatever that means.

I understand the nostalgia behind it as I consider it one of the best sports films ever made. But in no way does nostalgia equate or come close to the tune of 5 million bucks. Smoke and mirrors aside, you essentially have a so-so 20-year-old tourist attraction on a freakin Iowa farm. A decade from now, the novelty of the movie will wear off and some poor sap is going to be left with husks of corn up to…well, his ears.

What'd you think of this?
