Al Davis will not be inviting Al Michaels over for Thanksgiving dinner
A. Isaac Apparently, Al Davis and Al Michaels don’t like each other very much. The ABC broadcaster was approached by TMZ and had this to say about the Raiders owner.
Still, when we asked Michaels if he considered Davis a genius, he told us, “If you had a team that lost 11 or more games in SEVEN consecutive years, would you say a genius ran the team?”
Michaels also added that he didn’t think the Raiders would be going to the Super Bowl anytime soon. Shocking stuff, I know. Anyways, the Raiders PR team has responded to the Michaels slandering with a juicy tale of adultery.
“We have no idea what Michaels was blathering about. I do remember Michaels being associated with an ultimately bogus report about adultery and other misdeeds and he thought Al Davis had something to do with it. Al Davis had nothing to do with it.”
Um, of course Al Davis had nothing to do with it. The man is completely sane, has all his wits about him, and makes solid football decisions on a daily basis (as evidenced by this picture below).
