Anthony Pettis knocks out opponent with Matrix-esque kick
A. Isaac The WEC had their final event last night as they now join forces with the much larger UFC. And boy, did they go out with a bang. In a fight that decided who will be the #1 contender for the UFC Lightweight division, Anthony Pettis delivered this unbelievable Matrix-esque kick off the cage to end it in the fifth round.
Admittedly, my knowledge of MMA is not where it should be so I’ll just use hyperbole and say that is “the greatest knockout kick in the history of the sport”. Fair to say that the recipient of the kick, Ben Henderson, might still be seeing stars this morning.
