Beach soccer has cheerleaders
A. Isaac Raise your hand if you knew that there was a World Cup of Beach soccer? I didn’t realize you could just take games to different terrains and have official events.
(I fully expect the National Basketball Championship on Carpet to be played sometime next winter)
As for the World Cup itself, I’d love to tell you I sincerely cared. When I read that it was being played in Dubai, I didn’t have high expectations. I was hoping for a scantily clad Brazilian soccer fan or two but given the location, it wasn’t a good gamble.
But then for some odd reason, there were cheerleaders. Yes, I said cheerleaders. At a soccer event no less.
In a matter of minutes, Beach soccer went from an extremely dumb concept to a must-see sport.
Oh yea, and those scantily clad fans we didn’t think would show up. I guess we’re in luck. Nothing like showing up to a game in a bikini
